Welcome to Caroline Maddison's garden design service, ‘the village gardener ‘ which offers a  full design service to clients seeking an outside space which is beautiful, functional, relaxing and generally a pleasure for all to enjoy.

As a designer, I work with you to understand, interpret and implement your garden ideas and  create  inspirational  gardens.  From small cottage gardens to full scale contemporary gardens, I offer a range of services including development of the initial garden design concept,  project management, planting and garden styling.

‘the village gardener’ has undertaken commisions in the Cotswolds and I am happy to work in  Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire.
